Dyer Midget dinghy

Does anyone have a sail for a Dyer Midget they would sell?

If you are doing class boat racing , fine.

But the Dyers are no where as robust as a metal dink.

I sugest a sailing Grumman Aluminum dink.

Carries 4 or 5 in a modest chop, 2 rowing positions for the 25K+ days and light enough to lift aboard.

Fred that looks REALLY GOOD. Went out of manufacture many years ago I assume. Too bad.

Without doubt the Grumman is a great dinghy. I rowed one years ago and loved it.
Actually, as my post implied, I am looking for a sail for a Dyer Midget dinghy for my grand daughter

Brooksie, Try a wanted ad on Craigslist.

I did when looking for a replacement spar for my O'Day 20. About 3 weeks went by with no response, then a guy far away from any boating area called me and had the complete unit with all the hard to locate small parts. Exact fit and in perfect working order, saved me over $1,800.

If not there is always http://www.dyerboats.com/DDPartsPriceListMay2008.pdf

Good luck with your project.

Thanks for suggestion. I have been looking on Craigslist but didn't place a want ad. I will now.
Yes Dyer has them $$$ but I hoped to find a used one

Try some of the sail consignment shops.

Bacon as well as others have a search by Luff and Foot. Can't get any easier than that.
