Another dinghy question - we are hoping to buy an American Tug 34, I am wondering what size dinghies fit on them and what people are using. The standard davit seems to be the factory fork version, they say 350 lbs maximum. I don't know if the limit is the davits, the winch attachment, or the swim platform, or just too much weight in the trunk. I've heard rumor it is the winch attachment at the top of the transom near the door. That certainly flexed a bit on the one we tried out, I'm sure that dinghy was more than 350.

So for you AT34 owners, what's your dinghy, and how much does it weigh? Also very interested in those who are using the Seawise davits, which place all the weight on the aft edge of the swim platform.
