Nordhavn 43 #41 in production and for sale

Dave

The pilothouse doors look very familiar.

Awl fiddlesticks! I'd have written a check if they hadn't put that blue/black granite in the heads!

And it's got a Rocna anchor. Sheesh. Half the people on here will rag you for a decade with that hanging off the bow.

Larry-the short answer is yes, people do pay the full freight. But, Nordhavn is not in the business of financing its own builds (not a knock, not many builders are), the buyer does that. So, the longer this one sits, the more willing they will be to deal on the price. If it sits 3 months or more, you may be able to get it cheap, $725K or so.

It makes me wonder how much of a deposit someone gave up... unless they upgraded to a bigger one during the build.

All, we looked at this boat and were the ones who said Nordhavn is not building small boats (under 55') anymore. This boat was contracted some time ago and the owners decided to move up to a larger Nordhavn after visiting the boat. We are not fan's of the N43 due to the small salon and galley (we built two N40's). The rest of the boat is very nice. This layout was in our opinion an attempt to build the boat like the N40 deleting the spiral staircase and moving the OSR into the bow. People can make their own conclusions on the outcome. Someone will get a boat at a good price if the layout works for them. Likely may be the last N43 built.
