any ideas on cost to add bird system to 80 krogan?

Check the "stabilizer" thread on the General Discussion section. There is a post by Larry M from Hobo of about $10k in materials. The design/install should be reviewed by a naval architect/engineer, which will be an additional cost.

Our KK42's system is the A-frame variety.

Several of us have been discussing this at the last couple of PNW Krog-Ins. Contacts were made with Kent Morrow of Northwest Rigging, Anacortes. This is where Oogachaka had theirs made. The ballpark figure Kent threw out was $16000 installed.
