Engine room paint

Does anyone know the best paint to use on the inside of our engine room on our GB 48' Classic (all wood) please. We won't be doing the bilges, just the dry woodwork.

I don't particularly need a brand name as that can often be difficult to source, rather I need specifications - oil-based; water based; how many coats/primer etc?

I use this The Flood Company Australia » Paint Additives » ESP then a good quality oil enamel . If one coat looks thin just put another on there are no rules
