boats similar to 36ft grand Banks Europa ?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone who enjoys boating.

However I went over the 55 GB pilot house(I think it was a 55) at the last Sydney boat show, and that was definitely a boat that dreams are made of.It has replaced the Fleming 55 on my 'If only' list.(sorry a slight thread hijack I fear)
Saw both at the Boat Show too. Would happily hijack either.

All this debate over Europa covered side decks etc vs aft cabin staterooms etc has me thinking. Why one or the other :D

I thought my boat had come in, alas....not meant to be

(I really liked that boat, they are few and far between)

One big plus I did not see mentioned in favour of the Europa style, (ie: covered side decks) is the near elimination of window leaks and damaged interior paneling. I have seen some with damage but precious few "compared to the other designs".

Widow leaks are also eliminated with decently designed and properly maintained windows.

Bruce, it seems I was wrong about the GB at the boat show, there is no 55'.

Can you remember which model it was?

Sounds like you might have received a PM.
I think it was a greater foot number than 55, maybe 59 or 62, not sure, there was only one GB as I recall, the adjacent associated boat was another make (?Selene).
GB sizing seems odd to me, people I know have a 52 but it gets talked of as 60ft.
