This is related to my previous post on excessive vibration. On my single engine Pilot, the bushing or cutlass bearing on the shoe where the bottom rudder pin attaches is worn and elongated. Any idea where to obtain this part? Is this a standard part or is it specific to Mainships? Thanks for your time and expertise!!

My rudder used to have oilite bronze bushings that were standard off the shelf items. However, they didn't wear well and required frequent replacement. So I simply machined a Derlin (Acetal) replacement. The amount of Derlin stock I had to buy was enough to make ten bushings, so I made 5 and now have four on board as spares. The first one is going strong after 14 years.
