Started engines today on our Pilot 34, twin Yanmar 4LHA-STP 240hp, and neither tachometer was functioning. All of the other instruments were working normally. The engine hour meters which are built in to the Faria tachometer were on, but not counting runtime. The engines were making noise and propelled the boat, so I don't think the tach reading of 0 was correct.
No time to start troubleshooting today, any ideas for when I get a chance?
