The first 4 cruises for the new year is as follows:
Jan 14 thru 18, Wed thru Sun.....4 nights...2 at Boca Grande ( Gasparilla ); 2 at Palm Island ( near Venice) or 2 at Crows Nest ;
Feb 16 thru 20, Mon thru Fri....4 nights...2 at Tween waters, 2 at South Seas, Captiva Island
March 25 thru 30...Wed thru Mon ... 5 nights....4 at Galleon (Key West), 1 overnight at Marquesas Key ( 20 miles west of Key West)
April 21 thru April 27 ...Tues thru Mon... 6 nights... Round trip Stuart, fl ( across the Okeechobee), or South Florida loop,ie. Marco Island-Stuart-Marathon-Marco Island; details to be worked out later.
DETAILS:
Purpose: To promote a SLOW cruising club in the South Florida area for cruising and social interaction.
Club Name: Slow Cruisers of South Florida ( SCSF )
Mascot and Flag: Manatee
Requirements: A trawler or other vessel willing to cruise at approx. 8-10 mph.
Dues and initiation: None
Commitments: None. Pick up and leave the cruise fleet, where and when you want.
