I have a 20 x 22.3 inch 5-bladed prop in my 2004 Pilot 30. Previous owner had it "tuned" or balanced at a prop shop before I purchased it this year. During the Sea Trial part of the survey, the boat reached 3825 rpms and around 25 mph average of 2 directions. Power is Yanmar 370 hp 6LPA STP2. No vibrations were noticed.

Make sure you two are talking about the same engines. 370hp is 6LY at 3300, 315 is 6LP at 3800. Make sure the gear ratios are the same too.

My mistake, thanks for noticing that. The model number (6LPA-STP2) is what I have written correctly above, but the horsepower is 315 and not 370. My transmission is ZF Hurth, ZF 63A-25. Ratio is 2.5
