My rudder is really stiff turning to port on my 2003 pilot 34. I disconnected the cylinder, and it is the rudder, not the hydraulics. I assume the rudder post is bent.
Has anyone removed their rudder?
Can I do it without removing the shoe?
Interesting there is nothing holding the rudder down except the weight.
I can see hitting a rock and having the rudder pushed up and coming out of the shoe--- what a mess that would be!!
