I love my 2000 pilot 34 but she is really hot in summer. I do not have a hard top - should have bought one with hard top .

Any creative ideas to keep cool while cruising.

Is it crazy to think to add another A/c unit or route cool air to captain seat?

My 2007 Pilot 34 hardtop has a separate unit for the bridge deck underneath the port seat. This was factory installed, and is the same type unit and uses the same pump as the cabin AC. No reason it shouldn’t work on a soft top, but may need to upsize the unit to account for less insulation from the soft top.

I have the same configuration on our 07 Pilot and run it and the inside AC without being issue. I did replace the inside 12k BTU unit with a new design 16k unit and it made a huge difference in cooling and run time
