Photo of 2004/2006 Mainship 34 prop?

Hi,
Can anyone post a photo (or email it to me) of a 34' single screw Mainship 2004 - 2006 prop and rudder on a trawler that's hauled out? I'm considering buying one and I'd like to see how well the prop is protected.
Thanks, Sue

These are from a YW listing. I have no connection to the boat. Whenever I am curious about a boat I can often find something on YW with a pic that helps.

Here is a pic of my boat sitting on the hard while being commisioned. I can tell you though that the shoe will not stand a hard grounding. It gives some protection from deadheads and perhaps would help in a soft grounding in sand.

A few years ago I had the boat hauled out on a lift platform. The yard positioned the cradle poorly and crushed the shoe. It was expensive to fix as the shoe had to be rebraised and the prop shaft straightened. To their credit the yard footed the bill without complaint and the results were fine.

They should have went a step further and captured the bottom of the rudder.

Ben:

I agree and they should have triangulated the struts so that maybe it could support the hull in a hard grounding. But Mainships are made to a price.
