Need electrical help 2000 390 Trawler

I have bought a 12v oscillating fan for the forward stateroom. I am trying to install it somewhere in that cabin so it will blow air on you while sleeping.

I installed one in the second "twins" stateroom easily, by tapping into the lights on the side of the cabin (easy to get to).

Any idea where I can "tap" into a 12v positive and negative wire in that forward stateroom, and be able to "hide" the wires from view? I pulled out the 12v overhead light switch, but it is not a + or -, just a single pole connector switch.

Suggestions anyone?

The switch is exactly that. You splice into the positive run. The negative is at the light, not the switch.
