I have a Mainship Pilot 34 Sedan built in 2007. How do I remove the headliner? The fabric seems like some form of vinyl and it is in section. I want to change some wiring and I need to remove it. Do I need a special tool?

My boat is a 2005 and the headliner was attached to plywood that is Velcro'd in place. I think most boats of your vintage are made that way. Now, we're talking industrial strength Velcro but once a panel is starting to come off, it is easily removed.

Hope your boat has this type of construction.

Edit: The attached photo was taken after speakers were installed and wire runs were made.
