Mainship 390 Single/ fuel economy

Looking at a 1998 Mainship 390 single cat 3116 engine. What efficency can I get at low speed? Will be doing the loop this year.

Retired, go here mainship : This list is for Mainship Owners and others who want to own a Mainship.
That question is an ongoing subject. You will need to sign up to get access, not much of a problem.
I would help but, my 98 350 has twins.

By all means sign up for the Yahoo group owner's site.
Bottom line is you'll get 3+ mpg at trawler speeds and that will be inclusive of genny time. For budgeting if you use 3 that will get you in the ballpark. Any better will be a bonus.
