dripless is dripping

My port engine shaft has a dripless system that is dripping quite a bit into the bilge. Does anyone have experience. Can it hurt the shaft.

The leak will not hurt your shaft. Have you checked for debris between the mating surfaces? If PSS brand, you can also sand said surfaces with very fine sand paper for a better seal. If you have to adjust the collar to increase tension, know that there are two allen screws in each hole. The top one serves as a lock.
