34 Pilot Transmission oil

My 2003 34 Pilot has a ZF transmission that calls for SD, SE, SF oil, which is not available, what are people using?

Those API/ASTM codes get updated from time to time and any newer code is backwards compatible with the old. So use any 30 weight or 10w40 oil.

Check with ZF or a bit more research.


My Borg Warner has a few updates over the old oils...the big concern usually is you use a non-detergent, same grade.


Think my current supply of non-detergent 30wt is Napa.
