2007 trawler freshwater sending unit

2007 43' MAINSHIP TRAWLER
My freshwater gauge is inoperative and I cannot find the sending unit. I think it's under the floor in the second stateroom, ie: sitting area, but there appears to be no access. Has anyone had to replace theirs?

There is usually a way to access the tank fittings or a way to remove the tank.It may require pulling everything out of the engine room to get to the tank. Can you give us the make and model of your boat?Someone here may know going by that info.
