theres a 40 ft symbol at voyager marina very nice boat

There is a 44' Symbol in the slip right across from us (http://www.yachtworld.com/boats/1989/Symbol-44-Mk-Ii-Sundeck-2115722/New-Bern/NC/United-States). It's a really nice boat and had I known then what I know now, I might have bought it instead. It's a sweet and sturdy ride. If I had to fault it for something, it would be that, like most trawlers, the inside helm is pretty useless. It's not in a prime place for good viability. Still, I've been on this boat a few times and still ooo and ahhh over it when I do. It's a smart boat.

Friend of mine had an old Symbol MY for years. His only "complaint" was that it was so heavily built that his fuel consumption was way up. When he sold it he was boatless for about a year, till he found a newer, much bigger Symbol. Brand loyalty and all.
