Please help.

I have a Lycrest 37, 1984. The port side sliding door is secured with a claw bolt lock. The lock had died and I am unable to find a replacement anywhere.

The issue is the size. The lock cannot be any longer than 50mm (from strike plate to rear of lock) I can find any number of claw bolt locks, but they all have a standard 76mm length. This fouls on the window glass inside the door.

I have taken the existing lock apart and there is not a single manufacturers mark or serial no. anywhere.

You need to contact Southco Mobella. They make the sliding door locksets for many boatbuilders. I was able to get parts for mine easily.
