President 41' rail stanchions

We have a 1987 President 41. I suspect that a water leak we have is coming from the bow rail stanchion bases. Does anyone have any experience with how they are attached to the deck? Are they through bolted or just screwed down? There are 2 screws going into the top of the teak toe rail and 2 that go into the fiberglass deck. I wonder about the 2 that go into the fiberglass on whether or not they are through bolted.

Well Dave, if you can back one of the screws out a few turns may discern if it is machine threads. If so there is a nut. Can you access one somewhere below to see what it is. A few builders installed blind nuts that stay put. Mine were not.
Re bed with byutal tape. Re-bedded some last year. Very pleased.
