MT 36 DC leaks in main cabin

Heavy rain from Flo revealed several leaks on each side of the main cabin at the top edge. There is obviously something amiss between the deck of the fly bridge and the ceiling of the main cabin. I think the water is somehow getting into the hollow bulkheads on the sides of the fly bridge, and seeping into the cabin ceiling. Anyone ever had or heard of this problem?

Greetings,
Mr. HII. Welcome to the dual world of Taiwanese Trawlers AND leak chasing. "Anyone ever had or heard of this problem?"

Not laughing AT you, my friend, laughing with you. Check the stanchions and fittings on the fly bridge, for a start.

Window leaks are common. You’ll want to look up Wynne Windows in Alabama. Start a plan for replacement. Your craft is 30 years old more or less and those windows were historically bad. I had one and sold it last year.

Before I sold, I estimated about 5 windows to replace with sizes at about $1600 for the five I needed. Depends on sizing.

Good luck.
