Heritage East 36' Sundeck

Does anyone know the history of Heritage East? I think they were originally made in Taiwan and got bought by a Chinese company? I have a 2001 Heritage East 36' Sundeck I recently bought and was looking for any information about them. Interestingly, it has an Austrian made Styer diesel engine in it. Thanks!

I used to sell these. They are nice boats. All hardware was U.S. sourced so no odd Taiwanese hardware (ya hear me Marine Trader! I'm talkin to you!) Well thought out interior and those steps are great! I always saw Cummins in them but like Vince says," the Germans always make good stuff!".
