34 Foot CHB Specs

Still rebuilding this boat...but I need some verifiable specs from others who own a 34 CHB around the 1980 vintage. Prop size, waterline hull length, weight. I'm trying to compare to mine and recalculate the proper prop for maximized speed and efficiency.

2008 North Pacific 36. From same hull mold as vintage CHB 34 from 1980’s.

Weight - 19,000 lbs (dry)

Fuel - 300 gal

Water - 150 gal

Prop size - 22.8” (580 mm), 4 blades 16” pitch (406 mm), RH, 40.7 lbs (18.5 kg)

Transmission - ZF 63A, Reduction 2.52 forward & 2.54 reverse

Engine - Yanmar 4LHA-HTP 160

Max speed through the water at WOT (3300 RPM) - 9.5 knots

Best economy - 1.7 GPH @ 2000 RPM making 6 knots through the water

Length at waterline (LwL) - 29.98’ (9.14 m)

Beam at waterline (BwL) - 10.49’ (3.2 m)

Length overall (LOA) - 33.03’ (10.07 m)
