Bestway

Hi Andy,

I am reasonably familiar with Bestway Yachts and the LaBelle and Bestway brands they manufactured.

With the cockpit all models sat with a low bow. Cockpit provides a lot of aft buoyancy. I cannot help you on size of original tank. I would figure out largest size tank you can get in there and do that. You can adjust for/aft trim by how full you keep the tank. I don't believe if you kept it full that there would be any adverse impacts on either trim or performance. What is your hull number and power ?

Thanks. That's not one of the Bestways we imported. I'm traveling until mid next week. When home I'll check my files to see if I have an original brochure.

Just saw this reference to the original design of the Labelle brand that I found interesting. A little information and an outline drawing in the link below.

J. Simpson Ltd. Marine Designers and Consultants | 42ft Tri-Cabin Motor Cruiser
