Any suggestions on removing a stubborn salt water pump impeller on a Yanmar 4LHA STE would be much appreciated

I have the 4LHA-HTP version. Unfortunately there’s little room for a puller with the starter being so close, so you’ll just have to muscle it out. To put the new one in I do a couple of things to make it easier. Lather the pump and housing with a little dish soap, use a wide nylon tie to compress and hold the blades in the orientated position, and due to the tendency for blade hangup on the housing’s water passage cutouts on the side walls, I insert a plastic sleeve (made from a cut out piece from a plastic paper notebook) to temporally cover the cutouts, insert the new impeller, cut the plastic tie, remove the plastic sleeve and reinstall the cover.
