Email notification of subscribed threads

I would like to stop receiving email notification when someone replies to a thread I have posted in. I went to user CP, the edit options, then under thread subscription mode I chose "no email notification" but I still get them.

Is there anything I can do? They are clogging up my email inbox.

Yes - you can edit your subscriptions. When you change your e-mail and subscription preferences it only impacts new subscriptions, not existing ones.

Click on that link and you should see your existing subscriptions - you can edit, delete, etc.

Yup. That's what I had to do. They're quite annoying actually. I try to follow up on threads I'm interested in on my own time and don't need to clean out my email in box.

You could change your e-mail to a daily digest (one e-mail per day) and resubscribe to those threads...

Just get rid of the automatic thread subscription altogether. There is nothing worse than being woke up by the mobile version on the cell phone because someone in Australia responded to a thread that you had automatically "subscribed to" just by posting in it.

Edit - Never mind. Found how to turn off of the auto subscribe.

Can you share how to do this, I can't see an option to make it STOP.

Look in your user cp under edit options http://www.trawlerforum.com/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions

There are several places to change subscription and e-mail preferences. be sure to scroll down and hit save.

And.... you need to know that these changes only affect subscriptions moving forward. You can view and manage your current subscriptions here, deleting any you don;t want http://www.trawlerforum.com/forums/subscription.php?do=viewsubscription
