Need to get new gaskets for the end caps of my Cummins heat exchanger
Gets online with the big Cummins dealer and they want $239 each plus tax plus freight.
I need 3 of them for the heat exchanger so $700+.

Exact same thing from Cummins in China costs $43 USD for 10 delivered
I will have them in a couple of weeks.

Funny thing was, they didn't have the quantity I wanted in stock in Australia so I would have had 2 to 3 week wait.

I wonder where they were getting them from?

Awl Man! You’re getting into Volvo level pricing on that one! What series Cummins? I think I might consider becoming a Cummins gasket distributor there.

Some of the dealer prices for simple maintenance items are getting to be outlandish. Example: Four 3208 valve cover gaskets for $780 CDN. You can get aftermarket gaskets for less than $10 each in the US.

Cat loves their parts.
