Not sure what I am doing wrong we have a Mainship 390, with a Yanmar 6SLP To start the engine, the Main panel engine control needs to be on then from the lower or upper helm there are start and stop 3 way toggle switches - switch, at the lower helm when energised engine starts fine, at the upper helm I get a Low pressure alarm then when I engage the Starter rocker nothing happens not sure what I am missing

Silly question but is the throttle in neutral?

I'd start checking w a V meter....
Is there power to the switch common?
If not need to trace back to where ther is power and why it's not getting to the SW
If yes is the power getting to start solenoid? Is it getting to the stop solenoid?
If neither may be a loose connector
If no to start but yes to stop is the toggle sw bad or broken wire / connection somewhere between SW & solenoid

Thanks Don I will see what I can find out I would think there is power to it as when I go from Off position to Start the Low pressure alarm comes on just nothing happens when I move to the momentary up position, Maybe a bad Momentary switch
