New to Trawlers

Taking possession of a 1978 CHB 34 tomorrow. Hope I did the right thing. She seems in good shape and well keep. In need of new electronics. I have been reading the forum on electronics and need to get into Tiffanys (West Marine) and check out the newer Wifi rigs with tablet use. I came from a 34 ft Hunter (sail) in the last 7 years and thought a trawler would be just as stress free. No high speed here. Hope the first mate likes my choice. It looks like a good crowd to hang with. I have a little maintenance to look after on the Ford Lehman, oiler cooler, heat exchanger and impeller but I expected that or would have changed it anyway. I look forward to chatting with you all.
