When I look at some AIS vessels data or vessel information it gives the size, speed, closest point etc etc but also it reports on planned destinations. I have the Garmin 600 AIS and it’s working as expected however was wondering if anyone has been able to input their destination into the data transmitted? If so how? If this were doable I assume this would also transfer over to the various apps that can view ‘real time’ boat movements over the last 24 hours. Family and Friends in Europe would have another data point to look at on their occasional visits to find us. A couple of folks on the Krogen group discussion page are having a similar discussion too.
