Hi,

I know several owners have fixed or had fixed the soft spot that a certain population of these boats have near the mast on the flybridge. My search for old threads here and yahoo was unsuccessful. Does anyone know the construction of the bridge in that area? Is it cored or is it just glass? A couple photos of this area from the underside can be seen here:

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone that has tackled this fix. If I have to dig out soft core material and do glass work I'll hire someone, if it's just taking the headliner down and reinforcing, I'll probably give it a go on my own.

Thanks for any info.

Have you traced down the reasons for water intrusion and fixed those?

The problem was described to me by the boatyard last year as a void, not necessarily water intrusion.
