SSpipe braces swim platform MTDC 1982

My boat has ss pipe braces holding the swim platform. The lower ends are underwater all the time except underway. They are mounted in Bronze socket fittings. with ss bolts! Inside the hull there isn't a connection to the hull zincs. Questions: Do these deteriorate due to osmosis? Should they be connected to the hull zinc? Thanks.
 
I think you mean electrolysis. It does sound like a bad mix of metal but if it’s lasted thirty five years, I wouldn’t worry about it. Do you see any damage?
 
As HopCar notes, you probably are talking about electrolysis or galvanic corrosion. But if it ain't broke.....
