Took a nice cruise today, anchored out and relaxed on a perfect summer afternoon. When I went to start the engines and pull up anchor, the port side would not crank at all(Yanmar 240). I get the proper voltage on the gauge so it doesn't seem like a battery issue. Any ideas are welcomed and appreciated.

Check your neutral switch.. gear shift must be in neutral

Yes, tried that. Electronic Shifter, neutral, push the safety, press start...nada.

Voltage at the battery?
Could be a faulty neutral switch, we had that happen on a charter boat once.
Or faulty ignition switch (s)

I do not know for sure if this represents your Yanmar start circuit.
Temporarily jump the B+ terminal to the S terminal with a jumper wire to prove the solenoid and starter motor work.
