I’m preparing to do a haul out on a newly purchased IG 32 #45 for a bottom job and thru hulls. How are the valves attached to the hull? Are they threaded since these aren’t bolted in place? I need to remove these to rebuild them as they do not close.
Also, is there but one cutlass bearing on the shaft?

I`d expect there are 2 components. First, a thru hull fitting of 2 parts where one part screws into the other part, with the hull and some kind of internal backing pad in between. The actual opening/closing valve would screw onto the fitted thru hull.
Not sure about the cutlass bearing but one sounds right.
