I have a bad window leak. it's the small starboard aft in the salon. researching ways to fix it I came across this.
https://trawler-beach-house.blogspot.com/2010/05/window-frame-rebuild.html

it looks like a good fix .the only thing that bothers me is when they put the fiber and epoxy up the inner trim .it seems that that would make it very had when time to do any wood work in the interior .

would this fix work it tape was put on the interior trim to stop the fiberglass/epoxy lip from adhering to the trim ??

is the dow 795 sealant a good sealant ? it sure is cheaper than sika flex.

is there a better way? I only want to do this once. I want to resolve the window problems and epoxy and paint the trim . this small window will be my test before doing the others.

any advice would be appreciated.
