Is there a way to do this so that a caption shows with each picture?

I just type descriptive text immediately before or after the photo.* Isn't that good enough?

*I'll try that.

*Hmm. I go to "edit" post, which brings up the list of pictures I've posted with their file names. But I can't insert a caption for each picture in that section. What simple procedure am I missing?

Well, can't you do something like*...

This photo shows the lightning rod rising from behind the anchor light:

(Gee, four halyards and only two sails?)

*That looks like an "insert" (or is it "inline") photo. Can you caption one that is just uploaded and is a thumbnail?

*No.* If more than one photo, I'd*relate each caption (first photo ..., second photo ...,)*with the sequence of the photos.* I'm positive this was obvious, but*you wanted a better solution.* Sorry ...

*Okay. Will do that next time then.

I don't think there is anyway to caption a picture when you upload straight from your hard drive...

Good Looking Boat^^^^^^^^^

It's easy:
  1. Enter caption (if you want it on top)
  2. Check the "Attach image(s)" box
  3. Browse to pic on your computer
  4. Click "Upload File(s) at bottom
  5. Click on the blue [insert] at the end of the "Attached:xxx.jpg" line
  6. Enter caption (underneath if you want it below)
Done!
