Velcro adhesive

I've got a bunch of sew-on type velcro that I'd like to glue rather than sew.* I've tried contact adhesive and hot glue and the results have been less satisfactory.* Does anybody have any tricks to attach the velcro to wood or vinyl upholstery sufaces?

Titebond waterproof wood glue works on an amazing number of surfaces.

Velcro brand adhesive for their products? Works well, usually available wherever Velcro is sold.

don't know about the vinyl side but i have stapled it to the wood side. worked well for me
