Baldwin fuel micron ratings

The following Baldwin filters appear to fit the adaptor base for the Ford Lehman 120 and SP 135.

Micron ratings as per Baldwin:
BF790-5 nominal, 20 absolute; 83.76% avg. efficiency
BF788-4 nominal, 15 absolute; 83.76% avg. efficiency
BF988-4 nominal, 20 absolute; 86.34% avg. efficiency
BF900-4 nominal, 15 absolute; 83.76% avg. efficiency
BF980-4 nominal, 15 absolute; 83.76% avg. efficiency
BF7664-4 nominal, 15 absolute; 83.59 avg. efficiency

ALL filters have a similar spread as shown, with 16% or so of various sizes getting by to be caught usually by the on engine filter.

Using a really fine filter like a 2 will keep the on engine filter cleaner longer.

Frequently the filter bank is easier (and cheaper) to change than the on engine filter, and can be located out of the hell hole , the on engine filter cant be easily remote mounted. .
