Dinghy

This past summer we purchased a new to us Marine Trader. The boat came with a dinghy and motor with davits. My question is about the dinghy, it's a Jolly Boat. It's about nine feet rigid tube dinghy. Seems to be great since we don't have to worry about our dog putting a hole in one of the tubes but the thing is pretty heavy. Has anyone either have or heard of these ? Can't find much info on them.

Google "inflatable RIB" lots of them around, some very light with aluminum hulls, some not so light with single skin FRP hulls and some quite heavy with double skin FRP hulls.

It might help if you can post a picture of the boat. It sounds as though it may be some sort of forerunner to the Bullfrog. Is your dink equipped with non inflatable tubes?
