I have 5 units, two of them with SMX II controls... I found the instructions for programming the SMX II below.
The question is, can the older SMX I be programmed for the fan cycle as well ? If not, there must be an alternative method to achieve intermittent fan....as one of my SMX I units is intermittent fan but the other two are continuous. I would like to change those other two to intermittent as well. Any ideas how to do it ?
================================
For SMX II
Continuous Or Intermittent Fan
(Factory set: Continuous)
You can select continuous fan operation or instruct the fan to
cycle on and off with the system compressor.
To select continuous or intermittent fan:
• Enter the programming mode:
Press OFF.
Press SET.
• Press DOWN, FAN and UP simultaneously.
• Use the UP or DOWN key to select C (continuous) or I
(intermittent).
• Press OFF to exit the programming mode.
