Does anyone have opinions on Island Cove Marina in Harrison TN?

I have friends up there that like it. It's a little removed from the restaurant action, but has a Mexican restaurant on premises. You can go to Harrison Bay State Park for breakfast or a meal. By water it is probably less than 3 miles. Not a bad place at all. Are you looking for temporary or permanent?

We are looking for permanent for the next 3 years while we get ready for the Loop. It appears to be the closest marina to our home in NE Georgia, about 3 hours.

Oh, Clarkesville, GA not Clarksville, TN. Yes if you come to Cleveland on US 64 to I-75 you can take the Ooltewah exit to Hunter Road that will take you withing a mile or so from Island Cove. That is probably the easiest one for you. Many of our Power Squadron members keep boats there.

We spent a week there this spring, very friendly staff and excellent service department. We were in a covered slip, appeared to be new docks. Very clean rest rooms. We will visit again.

Marina is 90% new since tornado damage 3 or so years ago. Great service, parts and accessory store one of the best on the TN river.
