I took a 1977 CC 35 double cabin in trade to sell a larger Viking. There's a couple things I noticed that I may replace if it doesn't sell "as is " before next season. I could use some info if anyone can help... 1. the helm is very hard to port and fair to starboard. I think it's the cable and it looks like it could be a project as it runs under the fuel tanks. 2. The other is the gear/throttle set up(single lever ea side). It's pretty sloppy but seems to work ok. Replace the entire unit with same...dual controls or rebuild (if possible)? I put it up for quick sale, as is at $12,500. Price in spring will be closer to 20K if I do any work on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated . I have a 501 CC in Ft Myers beach that keeps me busy... Don't need two boats, One's enough!!! Gary 716 628 9003
