- 30-foot Mainship Pilot II Rumrunner Hartop Factory w/gen/ac/240 Yanmar '05
I have a very nice 30-foot Pilot II RumRunner, only 2 owners since new, me and one other person who I know well. I just got through have new 3/16-inch tanks made for it (normal or OEM is 1/8-inch thick Aluminum tanks) because the thinner ones pitted <treat with BIOBOR even if you don't want our boat>), rebuilt the triple-axle trailer with all new parts, no oxidation on the hull, about 750 hours on Yanmar 240 4LHA, great on fuel, (oil changed religiously) and the pervious owner had replaced the Kabota engine in the generator at about 175 hours due to exhaust leak (factory issue) in the Nextgen. All that I have done is improve this boat since buying her about a year ago. Unfortunately, my fiance' has had a schedule change to work weekends quite frequently in the medical field and we cannot get out as much as we'd like. The boat is Fighting Lady Yellow. We have kept her clean with Teak Oil on the inside and waxed on the outside Starbrite. We hate to part with the boat because we spent countless hours searching for a boat in this condition all over the Southeast. We will try to get something a tad smaller but taking this boat to the places we have traveled, Florida-based Springs, Intra-coastal and off-shore a few times, has been joyful and lots of compliments. I have kept good logs of the repairs made since we purchased the boat. I am asking 105 k for the boat and the trailer. If someone would like pictures, we can be e-mailed at santaselfhelper@yahoo.com . Boat has the original bottom paint from being kept on the trailer. I am scheduling her for September so knock $1,200 off the list price for this if we sell before Bottom is Painted. The trailer is optional but worth somewhere in line with 6 k after putting the Stainless Kodiak System on this trailer rated at 22,500 pounds (boat wieighs about 11,000 pounds dry). Not many of the Mainships come with 16 k BTU A/C and a Generator (trust me, we looked!) and even fewer come with an Aluminum Trailer to move the boat for Storms or Maintenance (or general cleaning of the hull the main reason we got it). If you are serious about our boat, please call, e-mail or text: (904) 334-5655 Smartphone. Paul and Laura Thanks for taking the time to read this post...
