I haven't replaced it but I've had it in and out a couple of times. There's another Manatee owner here in Stuart, FL that is doing his right now, maybe done. As replacements go, it's not a difficult as many, most things can be reached in the machinery space under the galley.
I have had the head removed and the pedestal Krogen designed for it to sit on makes it a fairly easy job. I thankfully wasn't replacing the head but was replacing the shower hoses, if your replacing your head and haven't replaced the hoses you might consider doing that job also.
