I joined this forum just to comment, I am Thornton. Let me clear a few things up for anyone who cares to listen. Information that I have based statements on i.e. the dumping of concentrated waste in comparison to how many households flushing at the same time came from the department of boating and waterways not off the top of my head. I am not trying to force people into using my service, just pumping instead of dumping. If someone who is to lazy to properly handle waste feels it is okay to dump directly into the water it must be stopped. In the harbor there are many paddle boarders some are even wheel chair paddle boarding they fall into the water all the time. Can you imagine coming up from a fall with a big poop in your mouth? In Oceanside everyone who lives in a house, condo, apartment or mobile home are regulated when it comes to dumping of human waste. Owning a boat is a luxury not a necessity, if you can't afford the cost of maintaining a boat don't buy one.
