Seems like I sent my reply to the wrong address!
I have just started my search I think I want ?? something between 26 ft and 40 foot
Must be shaft driven Diesel No petrol/Gas Stern drives!
Needs to sleep 4 with maybe 2 GKs on the floor.
I want / think I want a trawler style or in my opinion " Character". Not a plastic bath!
I have some mechanical Knowledge and can fix most things , not good with timber ",Wood splits for me". That being said I would look at a Timber Hull, if it was the right thing. We are in in the process of selling our farm and then going down to Gippsland lakes to be closer to family.
I owned a Flybridge 34 ft cruiser in Anacortes for 5 years. Not what I want now. Have seen lots when over there , but afraid the master would not countenance shipping one out.

I am interested in a commercial membership. Can you provide details and rules please. Let me know what you need from me.
My goal is not to promote my small business. I can provide sales figures and other market information to members who request it.

    Second half:

This boat was not really ever built to see even Coastal water, unless very calm - and I doubt she ever will. Probably built this way to be competitive. One mild steel tank has already been replaced several years ago before I bought the boat with aluminum.(why not both!) The Port tank still appears to me to be in fair condition, and I keep her under cover most of the time; and watch for water intrusion.

If I was to become so ambitious as to cut out those tanks and replace them with something more reasonable, like a pair of 50's, can you offer any advice on doing so or warnings of what to beware of?

Much appreciate all your experienced postings on TF.

Referring to your recent comments on that Kha Shing, you made some great points, and got me thinking again about those two (largely useless) 150 gal. fuel tanks that I constantly curse for taking up most of my er.
I bought the boat for Delta cruising, and a 50 gal. tank would suffice nicely; though I realize this is unrealistic, particularly for any re-sale value. I would gladly swap them in a minute for a larger holding tank - the 2 50 gal. water tanks are just about right though.

Too long. Will need to send other half.

We then moved to Queensland, Australia in 1989, bringing it with us, but eventually sold the Gazelle when we found it unsuited to the waterways here, and our age. We t
