    I am so sorry this is late but I never received notification of this message. I agree with your question and I'm sure you are well along with your project.     Hi, My name is Ben Schneider. I'm about to begin work on a 40' Eagle (Marine Trader) Europa style. I have soft spots under the teak deck on both sides of the cabin as well as in the cockpit. In addition, there is rot in the exterior walls of the trunk cabin. From what I'm gathering from reading all these posts is that I should start by removing the teak deck and subdeck and fix that before I start working on the trunk cabin. Do you agree with that?
