Ladies & Gents What would be the most recommended dog race to have in the boat? Fox? Labrador? Cocker? which? The idea is to have a noise protector, that keeps the fur from falling too much and that enjoys water. The Admiral and I, thank you greatly for your input Portuguese

My wife and I plan to retire and livaboard when we a 62. Assuming we stay in good health and enjoy the livaboard life, about how many years could we anticipate being able to be livaboards? How old do you see people doing this?

I have the opportunity to go South from NC in October. I know that I want to hit the regular places, like Charleston and Savannah. But once I hit Florida I wonder whether I should go up the St. Johns river or continue South on the ICW. I don't think I can do both as I have only two months to see what I can see...

vacuflush marine heads
(Preview)
I just bought a Gulfstar, and have a leaky head. I cleaned the opening and used lemon pledge to lubercate and soften the seals, and the vacume holds for a little while, but slowly the water level drops, and the hissing starts. Any hints Thanks Larry

We just moved out boat about 60 miles from Alameda, Ca. to Pittsburg, Ca to get alittle closer to the warm days and warmer waters in the California Delta. The winter was really nice in the SF Bay. Blue skies and generally nicer weather. But unless you are in a blow boat the Bay is much less fun in the sum...

Does anyone have experience with the 3208T Cat in a 44 ft Gulfstar or comprable boat? Would this power and boat combo be happy drifting along at 1100 to 1300 RPM? I understant I should run higher RPM some of the time but would a study diet of very slow speed cause any problems and what would be a realistic fu...

I have this system in place on my Cheoy Lee 32 for many years and it works great. I do use top quality hoses and gardena type of connections with larger seals to keep it tight. The hose goes into the cockpit and the cockpit is self draining in case anything happens, water won't sink the boat. Inside the b...
